About Us

 

East Point Church is a church plant of Grace Point Church in Talbott, TN, located in the Baptist Collegiate Ministries building on Walters State Community College campus.

East Point Church is a member of the Nolachucky Baptist Association, the Tennessee  Baptist Mission Board (TBMB), and the Southern Baptist Convention. As such, we affirm the doctrinal positions of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

East Point Church offers a casual worship setting but recognizes the profound theological depth of the great hymns of our faith. There is a blend of modern Christian songs and traditional hymns in a typical worship service with a contemporary arrangement.  Above all, our heart desires to see Christ glorified in all of our worship activities.

Central to our worship activities is the preaching of the living Word of God. We believe the Holy Bible is the sole rule of faith and practice in the Church, and its study should be foundational to the lives of the members of the Church.
